Ladies and Gentleman… Welcome to the Signtronix Raceway! It’s a place of speed, precision, teamwork and competition. With each passing month we complete another lap around the track of success. With seven laps left to go this year, the Dallas/Fort Worth Trailblazers are revving up their engines and looking to take a hold of the lead.
The Trailblazers know there are plenty of competitors who could step on the gas at any moment, so they aren’t taking any chances. The whole Region is functioning at full speed. This unique team also knows that persistent and constant forward movement is the only way to finish at the top.
On their own track of success, the Trailblazers recently finished their annual race of madness… March Madness. With brackets, seeds, underdogs, Cinderellas, wins, losses, upsets and TONS of sales, the contest is truly a highlight of the year. The final two week long round in March Madness culminated in the greatest battle of heavyweights the Region has ever witnessed. The final six competitors: Jared Castillo, Alan King, Keith Ives, Tony Charles, Will Welsh and Ken Hicks combined for 38 contracts in the last round alone! Leading the charge were Jared Castillo, Keith Ives and Alan King, who combined for 30 contracts and over 175,000 in the last round.
This year, in a fight to the finish, Jared Castillo won the honor of Trailblazer Madness Champion! With 18 contracts for the month of April (12 in the final round) and 90,000 in volume, Jared broke the Regional record for sales volume set just one month prior by fellow competitor Keith Ives. Another perk for Jared is a well deserved promotion to District Manager! He’s going to put Lubbock, Texas on the map!
Signtronix RM Lance Pelton congratulates everyone who participated in the two month contest. This year the contest produced many personal bests and showed what is possible at Signtronix if you simply GO TO WORK AND OPEN YOUR STORE EVERYDAY!
The yearly Trailblazer March Madness contest is not merely a contest, it’s the boost of energy and motivation that pushes the Region to the top of the sales charts. The top is a place the Trailblazers would be happy to occupy every month of every year, and they have the skills and the determination to do so! Unless the competitors on the Signtronix Raceway step up and challenge the Trailblazers, there is no telling how long they will dominate.
When sizing up the competitors on this year’s raceway, what comes to mind? Speed? Agility? Of course, sales skills! So far this year, there are many Regions that have made their sales skills known to the nation.
The mighty Steel City Eagles are making up laps very quickly with a fantastic month of April. As a team, they sold almost 400,000 in Volume! RM Buddy Swisshelm led his team last month by personally selling over 115,000. An RM will never set a better example than going into the field and selling alongside their Dealers.
Another RM out in the field with his team, Jim Callahan has been ripping up the raceway and showing everyone how it’s done! We will likely be seeing more of his name in the top spots in laps to come.
Along with Lance Pelton, Jim Callahan and Buddy Swisshelm, other Regions that are holding onto #1 spots on the raceway are Jeff Dean, Carmen Rodriguez and Robert Prujan.
When you are going 90 miles an hour on your race around the track, remember to keep your goals fresh in your mind. Maybe even make MORE goals!
The finish is closer than you know with only seven laps around the track to go. Without a constant foot on the gas, the top spots can slip through your fingers quickly. Stay on track and use the raceway as your guide and your goal for the remaining laps in 2009.
