Kathy Grosmann

The life of the Timberwolves’ first lady, Kathy Grosmann, is a prime example of a truly amazing tapestry. She is an extremely talented individual who is an inspiration to the Timberwolves as well as her incredible family and friends.
Kathy loves to sew! She took a quilting class five years ago and has, literally, been addicted ever since! It’s in her blood since her mother and grandmother were both quilters. David converted the screened-in porch into a quilting studio, complete with one of the very best quilting computers (that’s what they call sewing machines now!). After all, would a salesman who promotes only the best quality products want any less for his wife? She used her quilting skills to hand-craft the winning flag at the St. Louis jamboree!
“Quilts are like family and friends – a great source of comfort and warmth.” Kathy met David Grosmann 27 years ago while she was a bank teller. David had an Auto Parts business and would frequent the bank (always Kathy’s window) with deposits. He likes to tell people that at least back then when he made deposits he could get the money back! They were married in Seattle, Washington just as David began his career in the sign business. December 2007 will commemorate their 25th wedding anniversary! They have five children and ten grandchildren, all in the Memphis, Tennessee area. Just recently, they learned that grandchild #11 is due to arrive next February! Very proud of her grandkids, Kathy said jokingly, “If Tom and Joan Johnson are going to catch up; they better keep having the grandbabies three at a time!”
“Our lives are like quilts – bits and pieces, joy and sorrow, stitched with love.” Kathy describes the bits and pieces of joy she has experienced with Signtronix thus far. “Signtronix has always been a blessing to us! It stands for quality and integrity and has enriched our lives in every way possible. Financially of course, but more importantly it has given us opportunities we never would have experienced. We have been in almost every state of this country, witnessed different cultures that lie right within our own borders, seen national landmarks, swam in both the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans, the Gulf of Mexico, had fabulous trips to the Sea of Cortez and literally too many adventures to mention. But, by far the greatest gift that Signtronix has given us is the extended family of friends that has grown over the years. What more could a person ever desire?
I’m very honored to be recognized as a Signtronix Lady of the Month. However, it’s the dedication of my loving husband and the TEAM of Timberwolves and their spouses that makes my life what it is today. I’m grateful that I’m able to be a wife, a mother and a grandmother…and be the best that I can be!”
Inside and out of the Signtronix world, Kathy is known for her grace and love. She has a lust for life and people that is easily felt from the sound of her voice or a glimpse of her smile. Thank you, Kathy, for contributing your knowledge and good works to our ever expanding Signtronix world.
