Joanna Bennetti
Picture this… a beautiful wife and mother, two brilliant children and a loving husband and father with an amazing career in sales. Sounds picturesque, doesn’t it? How did they get to this point in their lives? It’s simple, really; love, hard work and a will to succeed. This beautiful wife and mother is JoAnna Bennetti. She has lived a remarkable life so far and, yet, still has a lifetime ahead of her.
While working at a gift shop in college, young JoAnna ran into a handsome guy but was too shy to strike up a conversation. Fast forward a year. JoAnna transferred to Arizona State University to attend school and was looking for employment. A temp agency offered her an interview for a secretarial position with “Mr. Bennetti”. This impressive man, Mr. Bennetti, immediately recognized JoAnna as a girl he once met in a gift shop and never forgot about. Bill was smart enough to hire this beautiful and talented woman. It was only six months before Bill started offering her a promotion to “Mrs. Bennetti”.
A smart woman with many talents, JoAnna studied Physics, Computer Science and Graphic Design in college. She’s been successful in her career as a Graphic Designer and also as a Product Marketing Manager for a Computer Software Company in San Diego. JoAnna was very valuable because her abilities and knowledge are so diverse. She was always able to communicate with the technical engineers and also with the creative design team effectively.
A big move took JoAnna and Bill to North Carolina. Bill has always been successful in anything he was involved in due to his innate sense of determination, pure talent and kind nature. Bill interviewed with an enthusiastic man named Paul Shawley at Siiiiiiintronix as well as with another company. Bill signed on with the “other” company. Bill was successful but not treated fairly. It seemed the better he did, the worse he was treated. JoAnna urged him to talk to Paul again and so started their career with Signtronix.
“Signtronix values people, talent and strength of mind. They valued Bill and that’s what mattered to us. Also, Beth and Paul Shawley make it easy for me to support Bill. You might think, ‘how can it be this good?’ But, I know that Signtronix really IS that wonderful.” said JoAnna. The camaraderie and family atmosphere is very comforting and alluring to JoAnna. She feels at home with Signtronix.
JoAnna and Bill have two brilliant and fun kids. Gabby, 9, is an artist, loves books and even knows how to sew. Billy, 7½, is a typical boy who loves Legos, Star Wars and rough-housing with Dad. JoAnna claims to be a “wannabe quilter” and loves it! She enjoys creating and designing, which comes in handy when she is teaching Science to her 37 first and second grade students.
JoAnna Bennetti is witty, colorful and a surprisingly tender soul. Her kind voice will always warm your heart. Our hats go off to you, JoAnna, for your never-ending support for Signtronix. It’s an honor to recognize you as the Signtronix Lady of the Month.
