Kaye Swisshelm
On March 10, 1998, Kaye went on one final blind date. All she knew about Buddy was that he owned “Gulf Oil”. Come to find out it wasn’t oil, it was signs. She liked him just as much with or without the oil! Four years after striking signs instead of oil, she married the “Last Available Bachelor in Pittsburg”. Kaye and Buddy Swisshelm were married on Sept. 21, 2002, and it was the Signtronix event of the decade!
Since then, Kaye has become a ‘must have’ at company events and trips. Kaye recalls her first company trip with Buddy and said, “Lounging with Brenda, Marilyn and Miranda while they raved about Buddy, I felt welcome. It was like meeting family.”
Kaye is very family oriented and loves Signtronix for its family atmosphere. She is very involved in the lives of their three children Julia 15, Nicholas 12 and Angelina 3. If it’s not hockey practice with Nicholas or a cheerleading competition with Julia, it’s gymnastics with Angelina.
Don’t let her busy schedule fool you! Kaye has many hidden talents she fits in every week. She’s in a bowling league, learning to play her new grand piano, taking Ballroom Dancing lessons with Buddy, going to the gym and, of course, she is a very skilled shopper!
Kaye maintained a “high-profile” career before she had her youngest daughter Angelina. She was well respected in her field and has lots of experience working with people and developing marketing strategies. She has since retired from the office and her family is now her full-time career.
Kaye was a featured speaker at our Kansas City Jamboree a couple of years ago. She led a successful panel of powerful women who helped Dealers and Managers alike learn more about the sign business from the “spouse’s point of view”.
Kaye is a fantastic speaker and a great addition to the Signtronix family.
“Being part of Signtronix has been a great experience. There is no limit to what we can do, the goals we can accomplish and the friends we can make,” said Kaye. She supports Buddy as an RM 100%. “He lives and breathes signs. He never stops, and he never complains.”
Kaye is always high-spirited and looking to make others happy. Her exhilarating personality draws you in and won’t let you go. A beautiful woman inside and out, Kaye Swisshelm is the epitome of the Signtronix spirit!
