In a recent Signtronix discussion with a new salesperson about his presentation to a business owner, a very revealing statement was made. The statement was, “…and then I went over the Main Street America I#@%$ with him.” While I believe that the statement was made innocently enough and in a spirit of jest, it is still quite revealing. I was reminded of a phrase I heard several years ago, “Hung by the tongue.” Words are not only a vehicle of communications, they are often a mirror of our understanding, or the lack there of, concerning the subject we are speaking about. From Doug Clark’s region comes a very exciting report from District Manager Doug Young, who said new Alligator Chris Peterson showed us again that Signtronix is truly a family business. After hearing of Jay Peterson’s successes, Jay’s brother Chris decided that “he could do it, too.” Doug Young reported that Chris’ first week in the field resulted in three placements for the Main Street America program.
